I have twenty years experience working with a wide range of animal species.

In 2001, after graduating from Washington State University with a degree in Social Sciences, I began working at Dolphin Quest Oahu in Honolulu, HI. I spent over 3 years learning about positive reinforcement training while working with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and Hawaiian green sea turtles.

In in 2004, I moved to Orlando, Florida and continued my work at Sea World Orlando working with and training killer whales, sea lions, Asian small clawed otters, and walrus. In addition to working marine mammals, I spent my spare time training and showing warmblood sporthorses in the hunter/jumper and dressage disciplines.

In 2012, I began working at Canine Companions for Independence in Orlando, FL, training service dogs. I moved back to my home state of Washington in 2014 and graduated from Karen Pryor Academy in June of 2016.

I am beginning my business, KGK9, offering dog training at my home in Woodinville, WA.
